This is such a great product! We had trouble trying to swaddle our little girl with the receiving blankets the hospital gave us especially when she was growing….they never seemed to be large enough to stay tucked in! We would find her in the basinette all untucked and risking suffocation! We then found the SwaddleMe products, which are wonderful! As it turned out, she was colicky and HATED being swaddled (which I know is strange, as they usually like it to calm them down!) but these blankets were great to at least wrap around her to keep her warm and she didn’t feel all squished! They also stretch, unlike normal receiving blankets. They are of the softest cotton and the perfect layering blanket when it’s cooler in our out of the house. It is the end of May and we still use ours every day…actually I just went out and bought another. Our daughter absolutely loves being tucked in with this blanket when she is in her swing (they do get chilly swinging back and forth!) and she loves to stare at the dot print! We use them in the car with the air conditioning to keep her warm but not overheated! The weight of this blanket is perfect year-round! The coolest thing is that it actually has a tag which shows the correct swaddling technique sewn right into the blanket, so it’s fool-proof! This is a DEFINITE must buy!!!
